A80 Tuna Blue LED Aquarium Light

The A80 is about half of the output of the A160, but has all of the functionality including manual and external control. The new innovative design of the A80 integrated the heatsink for the LEDs right into the body of the light allowing for high heat transfer without the need for a fan. The fanless design makes the module virtually silent in operation making them perfect for bedrooms, offices, and other areas where absolutely no noise may be required.

Coverage and applications
The coverage is 14-24″ and is ideal for the following scenarios:

Small nano reefs with a medium light demand (14″ recommended coverage at 4″ above the water)

Entry level reefs with low light demand (20-24″ coverage at 6″ above the water)

Large fish only tanks with low light demand (24″ coverage at 6-8″ above the water)

Refugiums

Multiple modules can be daisy-chained together with unit link cables for larger tanks.

Dense Matrix LED Array
The unique, efficient Dense Matrix LED array is built in-house and packs high-power and deep penetration onto a single small chip. Kessil has spent many years developing and researching what LEDs and has their unique array that they build in-house packing numerous diodes into an area no larger than a dime created a nice even blend of colors and producing a very broad spread of light. With such a tight pack of LEDs, the individual colors are thoroughly mixed before the light even leaves the optic lens reducing hot spots and providing uniform coloration throughout the tank.

Advanced Controllability
Use the dials on the fixture to quickly set the spectrum and intensity for a personalized look or use your favorite 0-10V controller. Kessil Logic maintains consistent output no matter the spectrum. Daisy-chain multiple lights for seamless control from a single source. With the Kessil Spectral Controller or your favorite aquarium controller that has a 0-10v reference, you can set complete day cycles that ramp up, down, while keeping a consistent output and spectrum.
