Information: The Planted Aquarium Store was created out of our own personal frustration in dealing with the aquarium industry and our local aquarium shops. Most aquarium shops are equipped to help either the saltwater community or the person keeping a fish only freshwater tank. After having spent large sums of money trying out all of the “wrong” products sold to us by local fish stores and listening to all the wrong advise, we resorted to the online community for help and the true guru’s in the planted aquarium industry-which by the way are nowhere to be found in South Florida. As everyone knows, the internet is full of half truths, myths and opinions, but after much research, we have succeeded in understanding what makes a planted aquarium work and thrive. We have also been highly successful at growing out some of the most impressive fish, the “Kings of the freshwater aquarium” Discus in our beautiful aquariums.

Here, at The Planted Aquarium Store we want to provide you with this knowledge in a condensed and easy to follow format. We will only sell you products that we know work well with planted aquariums and we will provide you with articles and the proper information, so that you can enjoy and display a tank with pride.
